Route setters love forcing comp climbers to do certain moves, the trickier and more technical the better. Intricate toe and heel hooking, slapping to get friction on large volumes and precise toe edging can all appear in one comp route. The new Solution Comp promises to do all these things better than ever. It's more adaptable, more sensitive and precise. 

Toe and Heel Hooking - The La Sportiva Solution Comp has more rubber coverage over the toe and with better friction. It's got rubber everywhere you could need it to gain that advantage. The heel has also been slimmed right down so that you can heel hook on smaller features. 

Smearing Friction - The Solution Comp has a softer midsole and slightly thinner rubber towards the mid foot so that you can get as much friction on smears as possible without losing edging power. This also gives it more sensitivity so you know what you're standing on.

Toe Edging - The original Solution was always loved for its precise toe edging and friction. The Solution Comp does not compromise on any of this but retains that edge power.
